What's NewSo - what's new at All About Christmas?Well, first of all, I want to thank all the people who've come back to see me several times over the past two years. My family has kept me away from the computer for long stretches at a time, so I haven't been able to update things as much as I'd like. Since I haven't been around for a while, I figured I'd better add a section to let everybody know what I've changed recently! I will be listing all my updates here with links, so that all the new stuff will be easy to find. Things are now changing all the time!! As I add new entries to the What's New page, they will be at the top of the listings. First up: December 5, 2009 Wow... I haven't been very good at updating my "What's New" section, have I? Lots and lots of stuff going on in the past three months, and I clean forgot to come here and let you know. SORRY!!! Well, first off - be sure to check out my Christmas Fun section. I have added the beginnings of the Christmas Plants section, with Poinsettias and Christmas Cactus pages, and more will be coming soon. If you've been to any of the section main-pages, you can't help but notice I've also started a new newsletter, GrannySue's Christmas corner! If you sign up, make sure you read the confirmation emails (there will be 2, one when you sign up, and another to confirm - I HATE SPAM - so please bare with me!) because there is a link and a password to pick up a couple free goodies for signing up. There are new pages in several sections, and more waiting to go up - but I figured this entry would get too long if I listed everything I forgot to put here! OH!!! One more thing: In the next hour or so, you will notice I've opted to have a disclosure page. Please take a quick look. September 5, 2009 I've added a special page - please be sure to click on the "JDRF Walk - Gina|" button and watch the two videos there. The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation sponsors a Walk for a Cure each year. Gina's Gang is participating. Please consider a donation to this wonderful cause - August 19, 2009 My "What's New" section is growing a lot recently - it feels really great to be getting back to work!! I am adding Google Search to the site to make things a bit easier, and to provide some quality outside resources for you as well. To start, only certain pages will have a search function - but eventually, most - if not all - will have it. I have updated the privacy policy to reflect this change, and hopefully the new search box will be working by this evening. August 18, 2009 All of the songs on the Christmas Music "Lyrics" pages are now clickable!! After each song's lyrics, there is also a link back to the top of the page. I hope this will make finding the perfect song a lot easier for everybody! Also, all of the recipes we have listed currently (more coming) are now clickable, with links to the top as well - in both cookbooks. August 11, 2009 I've updated the privacy policy (nope - not collecting anything but email addresses through my contact page, just tweaking and updating my own information!). All recipes in the Christmas Sweets section are linked through the list at the top of the page. If you click to a "404" page, please let me know through the contact form!! I've tried really hard to be sure all links on the site work, but I might have missed one or two! (Up next: clickable recipe links in the main cookbook, clickable links to the lyrics on the music pages.) August 2, 2009 - The Cookbooks will be down for a few days, while I revamp and change some things around. Hopefully, things will be a bit easier to navigate. There will still be five or six recipes on the main page for each section, but then there will be clickable links to even more! Though I still use and highly recommend Watkins products, some things have had to go in order to make room for me to get back to regularly working on this website. Watkins was one of them. July 31, 2009 - Its been a while since I could work on the site, but now that things are back to normal for a while again, there are going to be lots of changes!! First up - I've changed a few things on the Christmas History section of the site. Each major division now has its own page to make things easier. There are more changes coming up in the next few days and weeks, as well! December 14 -  Santa Mike is offering this one-of-a-kind service nightly from now until Christmas, every evening. Check it out, and give him a shout! You'll find the banner and link here, on the home page of my site, and also in the children's area of the Christmas Gifts section. December 4 - I'm Dreaming of a Green Christmas * - Here you'll find a short page (located in the Christmas Decorating section) with a couple great hints on how to have an eco-friendly holiday!!
