Ginas Gang - Special requestJDRF Walk for a Cure on October 9, 2009. I received this video yesterday from my aunt, who works with Gina's Dad. Gina is so adorable, and I was so moved, that I thought I would put it here to help raise funds. 35,000 perfectly adorable, perfectly normal children are diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes each year. This type of diabetes is not preventable. There is no cure. Let's help make sure that this year is the year they find one!!
This is not the first year that they've helped to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund... Gina was diagnosed in 2006, when she was 2. I can't help myself - below is last year's video, too, which helped raise $11,000.00. This year's goal is $20,000.00 - we can help them double that figure!!
