Ring in the Holiday Season with
Some Great Christmas Music!
So Many Choices!
I start putting on the Christmas albums in November. Christmas music helps me to get and stay in the holiday mood throughout the season! There are dozens of great albums out there, and each year, more artists add to the collection.
From Gospel to Country, and everything in between, groups are coming out in droves with their versions of Christmas songs both new and old. This is the time of year for those albums to hit the shelves, so I have put a page up for all of the latest info on new releases in the stores.
Christmas Lyrics Ready for That Sing-A-Long
We have pages upon pages of lyrics for Christmas songs and Christmas carols. I've scouted the library, the web, and my parent's personal collections to get the lyrics to all of the most popular holiday music. There are a few songs here that I thought were beautiful, and included, though even I hadn't heard of them before. There are also a couple of parodies that I thought you might enjoy. All of the songs are listed alphabetically. Where there were a lot of songs, I simply added the page number after its letter. I have kept to ten or fewer songs on each page, so if there is something missing, feel free to use the contact button on the left!! Christmas music on the web is an entirely new field for me! Since I started playing with my computer and learning to work the jukebox, I've found dozens, even hundreds of links for Christmas songs. I'll have a page of links for them, with some simple reviews.
A Little Bit of Christmas Music History
We have a little bit of history on several perennially popular Christmas tunes as well. Heck - it wouldn't be my place if there wasn't a bit of history here, *wink!*There are some wonderful stories about how certain Christmas songs and carols came to be. As I find out more about some of the songs we have listed in the Christmas lyrics section, I will be adding more pages on their histories.
