Make Wide the Door, Unbar the Gate
- Georg Weissel, score - Valentine Schuman

Make wide the door, unbar the gate!
The King of Glory comes in state,
His banner o'er the earth unfurled
He is the Savior of the world.

He comes to earth in righteousness,
All men with peace and joy to bless
In kindness is His purpose shown;
He reigns in mercy o'er His own.

He heralds forth a gracious day,
And takes our sin and guilt away;
And hence from longing hearts shall sound
A hymn of praise the world around.

O well for ev’ry hearth and home,
Where Jesus rears His kingly dome!
O well for ev’ry heart and mind,
Where Christ as King. may entrance find.

For then a heavenly joy will greet
Our souls from God's own mercy-seat;
In Him, the Son of God, is light
That makes our deepest darkness bright.

Make Wide the door, remove all bars;
Give room to Him who rules the stars
For then the King of Glory will
The wondrous work of God fulfill.

My heart I open now to Thee;
Come, Jesus, and abide with me;
And in. Thy mercy make it so,
That I Thy depths of love may know.

O let Thy Spirit more and more,
From day to day make wide the door,
That Christ alone our King' may be,
And Savior through eternity!

Marshmallow World
- Author Unknown

It’s a marshmallow world in the winter,
When the snow comes on top of the ground.
It’s a time for play, it’s a wint’ry day,
I wait for it all year ‘round.

Though the marshmallow clouds bein’ friendly,
In the arms of the evergreen tree,
And the sun is red, like a pumpkin’s head,
Should be shining like your love for me.

The world is a snowball, see how it grows,
That’s how it goes, whenever it snows.
The world is a snowball just for a song,
Get out and roll it along.

Mary, Did You Know?
- Mark Lowry Music - Buddy Greene

Mary, did you know
That your baby boy will one day walk on water?
Mary, did you know
That your baby boy will save our sons and daughters?
Did you know
That your baby boy has come to make you new?
This child that you've delivered
Will soon deliver you

Mary, did you know
That your baby boy will give sight to a blind man?
Mary, did you know
That your baby boy will calm a storm with His hand?
Did you know
That your baby boy has walked where angels trod?
And when you kiss your little baby
You've kissed the face of God

Mary, did you know?
The blind will see
The deaf will hear
And the dead will live again
The lame will leap
The dumb will speak
The praises of the Lamb

Mary, did you know
That your baby boy is Lord of all creation?
Mary, did you know
That your baby boy will one day rule the nations?
Did you know
That your baby boy is heaven's perfect Lamb?
This sleeping child you're holding
Is the Great I Am

Oh Mary did you know?

Mele Kalikimaka
- Author Unknown

Mele Kalikimaka is the thing to say
On a bright Hawaiian Christmas Day
That's the island greeting that we send to you
From the land where palm trees sway
Here we know that Christmas will be green and bright
The sun to shine by day and all the stars at night
Mele Kalikimaka is Hawaii's way
To say "Merry Christmas to you."

Merry Christmas Bells Are Ringing
- Author Unknown, score - H. Kotzschmar

Merry Christmas bells are ringing,
Ringing far and near,
Angel voices sweetly singing,
Singing soft and clear;
"Glory! for the Lord is come,
Jesus makes the earth His home."

Happy voices catch the echo
Of the angels' song;
Grand old chant, and joyous carol,
Ring the aisles along.
Let our lips their homage pay
To the Saviour, born today.

Graceful Christmas greens are wreathing
Column, choir and nave;
While their cross-tipped boughs say ever,
"Jesus comes to save."
And the spicy fir's perfume
Breaths its welcome: -- "Christ is come!"

In our souls let glad obedience, --
Faith and love entwine, --
Yielding Christmas odors sweeter
Than the fragrant pine:
So our hearts shall homage pay
To the Saviour, born today.

Precious Christmas gifts are gladdening
Many a heart and home;
But the "Gift all gifts excelling,"
Christ, Himself, is come;
In your hearts make speedy room,
For the Christ, the Lord is come!

And have we no gifts to offer
To our Lord and King?
Lord, "ourselves, our souls and bodies"
Unto Thee we bring.
With our lives glad homage pay
To the Saviour, born today!

Merry Christmas Darling
- Frank Pooler & Richard Carpenter

Greeting cards have all been sent
The Christmas rush is through
But I still have one more wish to make
A special one for you

Merry Christmas Darling
We're apart that's true
But I can dream and in my dreams,
I'm Christmas-ing with you.

Holidays are joyful
There's always something new
But every day's a holiday
When I'm near to you

The lights on my tree
I wish you could see
I wish it every day
The logs on the fire
fill me with desire
To see you and to say

That I wish you a merry Christmas
Happy New Year, too
I've just one wish
on this Christmas Eve
I wish I were with you
I wish I were with you

Mistletoe and Holly
- Author Unknown

Oh by gosh, by golly, it's time for mistletoe and holly,
Tasty pheasants, Christmas presents,
Countrysides covered with snow.
Oh by gosh, by jingle,
It's time for carols and Kris Kringle.

Overeating, merry greetings
From relatives you don't know.
Then comes that big night,
Giving the tree a trim.
You'll hear voices by starlight
Singing yuletide hollers...

Oh by gosh, by golly,
It's time for mistletoe and holly,
Fancy ties and Grandma's pies
And folks stealing a kiss or two,
As they whisper Merry Christmas to you.

(The) Most Wonderful Day Of The Year
- Author Unknown

A packful of toys means a sackful of joys
For millions of girls and for millions of boys
When Christmas Day is here
The most wonderful day of the year!

A jack in the box waits for children to shout,
"Wake up, don't you know that it's time to come out!"
When Christmas Day is here
The most wonderful day of the year!

Toys galore
Scattered on the floor
There's no room for more
And it's all because of Santa Claus!

A scooter for Jimmy, a dolly for Sue
The kind that will even say "How do you do."
When Christmas Day is here
The most wonderful day of the year.
