A Boy is Born in Bethlehem!
Allelujah! Allelujah!
And joy is in Jerusalem,
Allelujah! Allelujah!
And there He lay in manger poor,
Allelujah! Allelujah!
Whose rein shall last for ever-more,
Allelujah! Allelujah!
The ass and ox and all the heard,
Allelujah! Allelujah!
Knew well that Boy to be the Lord!
Allelujah! Allelujah!
And kings from out the East there were,
Allelujah! Allelujah!
With gold and frankincense and myrrh
Allelujah! Allelujah!
He lived like us in form and dress,
Allelujah! Allelujah!
Without our taint of wickedness.
Allelujah! Allelujah!
He came our souls to purify,
Allelujah! Allelujah!
and bring us safe to bliss on high
Allelujah! Allelujah!
Therefore let us with one accord,
Allelujah! Allelujah!
On this His Birthday praise the Lord!
Allelujah! Allelujah!

The shepherds had an angel,
The wise men had a star;
But what have I, a little child,
To guide me home from far,
Where glad stars sing together,
And singing angels are?
The Wise Men left their country
To journey morn by morn,
With gold and frankincense and myrrh,
Because the Lord was born:
God sent a star to guide them,
And sent a dream to warn.
My life is like their journey,
Their star is like God's book.
I must be like these good Wise Men,
With heav'n-ward heart and look:
But shall I give no gifts to God?
What precious gifts they took
Lord, I will give my love to Thee,
Than gold much costlier.
Sweeter to Thee than frankincense,
More prized than the choicest myrrh,
Lord, make me dearer day by day,
Day by day holier; (Day by day holier.).
Nearer and dearer day by day,
Till I my voice unite
And sing "Glory, glory"
With angels clad in white;
All "Glory, glory" given to Thee,
All "Glory, glory" given to Thee.
Through all the heav'nly height.
All "Glory, glory."
Through all the heav'nly height.
All "Glory, glory." given to Thee.

A great and mighty wonder
Our Christmas festal brings:
On earth a lowly infant,
Behold the King of kings!
The Word is made incarnate,
Descending from on high;
And cherubim sing anthems
To shepherds from the sky.
And we with them, triumphant,
Repeat the hymn again:
"To God on high be glory,
And peace on earth to men!"
While thus they sing your Monarch,
Those bright angelic bands,
Rejoice, ye vales and mountains!
Ye oceans, clap your hands!
Since all He comes to ransom,
By all be He adored;
The Infant born in Bethlehem,
The Savior and the Lord!
And idol forms shall perish,
And error shall decay,
And Christ shall wield His scepter,
Our Lord and God for aye.

Have a holly, jolly Christmas,
It's the best time of the year
I don't know if there'll be snow
But have a cup of cheer
Have a holly, jolly Christmas,
And when you walk down the street
Say Hello to friends you know
And everyone you meet
Oh ho the mistletoe
Hung where you can see,
Somebody waits for you,
Kiss her once for me
Have a holly jolly Christmas
And in case you didn't hear
Oh by golly
Have a holly jolly Christmas this year!

A jolly wassel-bowl,
A wassel of good ale,
Well fare the butler's soul,
That setteth this to sale;
Our jolly wassel.
Good dame, here at your door
Our wassel we begin,
We are all maidens poor,
We pray now let us in,
With our wassel.
Our wassel we do fill
With apples and with spice,
Then grant us your good will
To taste here once or twice
Of our good wassel.
If any maidens be
Here dwelling in this house,
They kindly will agree
To take a full carouse
Of our wassel.
But here they let us stand
All freezing in the cold:
Good master, give command
To enter and be bold,
With our wassel.
Much joy into this hall
With us is entered in;
Our master, first of all,
We hope will now begin
Of our wassel.
And after his good wife
Our spiced bowl will try;
The Lord prolong your life,
Good fortune we espy
For our wassel.
Some bounty from your hands,
Our wassel to maintain:
We'll buy no house nor lands
With that which we do gain
With our wassel.
This is our merry night
Of choosing king and queen,
Then be it your delight
That something may be seen
In our wassel.
It is a noble part
To bear a liberal mind;
God bless our master's heart,
For here we comfort find,
With our wassel.
And now we must be gone
To seek out more good cheer,
Where bounty will be shown
As we have found it here,
With our wassel.
Much joy betide them all,
Our prayers shall be still,
We hope and ever shall,
For this your great good will
To our wassel.

I’ll tell you a tale of the olden time,
While the Yule log burns bright, and the Church bells chime.
Gloria in excelsis Deo.
There sate a fair Princess in joy on her throne,
And there in her arms her Infant was shown:
Gloria in excelsis,
Gloria in excelsis Deo.
The beasts of the meadows bowed down their head
All under the moonlight so softly shed.
Gloria in excelsis Deo.
They worship’d the king of Creation there
In the arms of the Mother so passing fair.
Gloria in excelsis.
Gloria in excelsis Deo.
O who are these masters of ancient mould?
O these are the shepherds the lord of the fold;
Gloria in excelsis Deo.
They have heard from the sky of the birth of their King,
They have heard all the sky with the harmony ring.
Gloria in excelsis,
Gloria in excelsis Deo.
The Kings of the East in number three,
All worship the Monarch of high degree;
Gloria in excelsis Deo.
Their tribute they offer, their heads they bow,
And clearer and clearer is echoing now,
Gloria in excelsis,
Gloria in excelsis Deo.
For all the zenith if blazing with light,
And musical voices enrapture the night;
Gloria in excelsis Deo.
O this is the carol of peace and goodwill
From the voices celestial, the zenith that fill;
Gloria in excelsis,
Gloria in excelsis Deo.

A wassail, a wassail throughout our town
Our cup it is white and our ale it is brown
Our wassail is made of the good ale and true
Some nutmeg and ginger it's the best we can brew
Fol the dol fol the dol di dol
fol the dol di dol fol the dol di dee
fol the dairo fol the dardy
sing toorilido
Our wassail is made of the elderberry bough
And so my good neighbours we'll drink unto thou
Besides all honour you'll have apples in store
Pray let us come in for it's cold by the door.
Fol the dol fol the dol di dol
fol the dol di dol fol the dol di dee
fol the dairo fol the dardy
sing toorilido
We hope that your apple trees prosper and bear,
So that we may have cider when we call next year;
And where you've one barrel I hope you have ten,
So that we can have cider when we call again.
Fol the dol fol the dol di dol
fol the dol di dol fol the dol di dee
fol the dairo fol the dardy
sing toorilido
There's a master and a mistress sitting down by the fire
While we poor wassail boys do wait in the mire
And so pretty maid with your silver-headed pin
Please open the door and let us come in.
Fol the dol fol the dol di dol
fol the dol di dol fol the dol di dee
fol the dairo fol the dardy
sing toorilido
We know by the moon that we are not too soon
And we know by the sky that we are not too high
We know by the stars that we are not too far
And we know by the ground that we are in sound.
Fol the dol fol the dol di dol
fol the dol di dol fol the dol di dee
fol the dairo fol the dardy
sing toorilido
There's our wassail boys growing weary and cold
Drop a bit of small silver into our old bowl
And if we're alive for another new year
Perhaps we may call and see who do live here.
Fol the dol fol the dol di dol
fol the dol di dol fol the dol di dee
fol the dairo fol the dardy
sing toorilido

Adeste, fideles, laeti triumphantes,
venite, venite in Bethlehem!
Natum videte regem angelorum.
Venite adoremus,
venite adoremus,
venite adoremus dominum!
Deum de Deo, lumen de lumine
gestant puellae viscera;
natum videte regem angelorum.
Venite adoremus,
venite adoremus,
venite adoremus dominum!
Cantet nunc "Io!" chorus angelorum
cantet nunc aula caelestium.
Gloria in excelsis Deo!
Venite adoremus,
venite adoremus,
venite adoremus dominum!
Ergo qui natus, die hodierna,
Jesu, tibi sit gloria;
Patris aeterni, Verbum caro factum!
Venite adoremus,
venite adoremus,
venite adoremus dominum!
En grege relicto, Humiles ad cunas
Vocati pastores approperant;
Et nos ovanti gradu festinemus.
Venite adoremus,
venite adoremus,
venite adoremus dominum!
Aeterni Parentis splendorem aeternum
Velatum sub carne videbimus,
Deum infantem, pannis involutum
Venite adoremus,
venite adoremus,
venite adoremus dominum!
Pro nobis egenum Et foeno cubantem,
Piis foveamus amplexibus;
Sic nos anamtem quis non redamaret?
Venite adoremus,
venite adoremus,
venite adoremus dominum!
Stella duce, Magi, Christum adorantes,
Aurum, thus, et myrrham dant munera;
Jesu infanti corda praebeamus.
Venite adoremus,
venite adoremus,
venite adoremus dominum!

All hail, ye merry folk today,
All hail, we sing our gladsome lay,
Come list to us as we do say,
Our carol gay,
Noel, Noel, we sing Noel,
And this the Angels come to tell
For God who doeth all things well
With man doth dwell.
Begone all gloom, cast grief aside,
May joy with us for aye abide,
What better deed could us betide,
Than death defied.
Noel, Noel, we sing Noel,
And this the Angels come to tell
For God who doeth all things well
With man doth dwell.
Come let us seek the Infant King,
And homage pay, and to Him bring
Our hearts as fittest offer sing,
And to Him sing.
Noel, Noel, we sing Noel,
And this the Angels come to tell
For God who doeth all things well
With man doth dwell.
Seek not ye palace rich or grand,
Nor with the greatest men to stand,
But join a lowly pilgrim band
In Israel’s land.
Noel, Noel, we sing Noel,
And this the Angels come to tell
For God who doeth all things well
With man doth dwell.
Lo! There we find Him, greatest, best,
Who in a manger deigns to rest,
Who by His Life ye world hath blest,
Most welcome guest.
Noel, Noel, we sing Noel,
And this the Angels come to tell
For God who doeth all things well
With man doth dwell.
With us your happy songs unite,
Within your hearts to dwell, invite
The God who doeth all things right,
Your soul to light.
Noel, Noel, we sing Noel,
And this the Angels come to tell
For God who doeth all things well
With man doth dwell.

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth,
My two front teeth, see my two front teeth.
Gee, if I could only have my two front teeth,
Then I could wish you "Merry Christmas."
It seems so long since I could say,
"Sister Susie sitting on a thistle."
Gosh, oh gee, how happy I'd be
If I could only whistle.
All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth,
My two front teeth, see my two front teeth
Gee, if I could only have my two front teeth,
Then I could wish you "Merry Christmas."
